Job Description

We’re looking for a Cashier because “Being Awesome” isn’t a job title we can use. The perfect recipe for a Cashier on our team involves a little sugar and spice, and a pinch of everything nice! You’ll be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing the best‑of‑the‑best customer service.

On our team you’ll ignite your passion and join a crew that loves being awesome every day. The position is Monday to Friday, weekends and statutory holidays off. Tip out available.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register / POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize and balance the cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for the unit based on operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
• Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and / or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and / or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
