ResponsibilitiesClient Communication & CoordinationServe as the primary contact for all event-related inquiries, providing exceptional service and timely responses via email, phone, and in-person meetings.Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to guide clients through the event planning process, offering detailed information about Beach Grove Golf Club’s services, packages, and policies.Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.Event Planning & ExecutionWork closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and internal teams to coordinate and finalize event details, including timelines, layouts, menus, and special requests.Create and distribute detailed function sheets to all departments, ensuring smooth communication and successful event execution.Actively support event operations on the day of the event, providing on-site assistance to clients and ensuring seamless service.Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all needs are met for client satisfaction.Floor Support During Slow PeriodsDuring slower catering and event periods, provide front-of-house support, including serving, hosting, and general customer service duties.Stay actively engaged on the floor to ensure smooth operations and enhance the guest experience when there are fewer events to manage.Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with daily operational needs, such as inventory checks, restaurant service, and customer inquiries.Administrative TasksMaintain an organized event calendar and ensure that all stakeholders are updated with event details.Prepare post-event reports, including client feedback and suggestions for improvement.Assist with administrative duties, particularly when the Food & Beverage Manager or other team members are unavailable, helping to ensure continuity and smooth operations.Keep accurate records of event details, client communications, and billing information.QualificationsRequired Skills and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with social media management tools and graphic design platforms (e.G., Canva, Hootsuite) is a plus.Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to pitch in where needed, especially during slow periods or when supporting front-of-house operations.Personal AttributesCreative thinker with a passion for event planning and social media.Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Work ScheduleFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and club schedules.Ability to assist with floor service and front-of-house duties during slow catering periods or when administrative help is needed.What We OfferA dynamic team environment in a prestigious private club setting.Opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality and marketing industries.Golf perksReports To : Food & Beverage ManagerSalary : $45,000.00 - $55,000 per year based on experience plus gratuity structure
