Onsite in Toronto, ON

6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Our client is looking to add a member to their IT Support team. You will be responsible for supporting internal and external users on their Bloomberg and Aladdin trading applications.

What You Will Be Doing

• Installing and or configuring trading platforms (Ex. Bloomberg, Aladdin, Tradeweb) on AIC user laptops.
• Assisting traders with configuring personalized settings on Bloomberg (Ex. Watchlists, Shortcut Keys etc.). For Aladdin, trading support team will work with business to coordinate with BNYM FOBAS team for Aladdin specific user customization.
• Configuring APIs and data feeds for trading applications to ensure seamless integration with internal systems and third-party data providers.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to trade order failures, delays, or incorrect executions, and liaising with 3rd party vendor support for specific trading applications if necessary.
• Optimizing the trading applications performance by adjusting system parameters, data caching, and memory usage based on user / trading environment needs.
• Providing immediate response to traders for any issues that disrupt trading operations, such as system outages, application crashes, or connectivity problems.
• Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely upgrades and patch fixes of trading platforms to the latest versions, ensuring minimal disruption to trading operations.
• Supporting conference room activities, including updating video conferencing software on the NUC devices
