Job description
Overview Our client, a leading product innovation firm, focused on the strategy, design, and development of cutting-edge apps, is hiring a Pres Sales Consultant based in GTA. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Proposals as a response to RFPs and estimation requests
  • Prepare Pitches and Proposals for unsolicited deals
  • End-to-end proposal management to meet deadlines.
  • Writing and integrating the final response from various stakeholders, tech editing, and timely submission with commercials.
  • Attend meetings with potential clients
  • Analyze and assess client requests to define the scope of work for the project
  • Break down complex (or vague) requirements into manageable, well-isolated tasks
  • Explore unknowns and propose sound solutions that will win in sales and delivery feasibility
  • Identify risks and constraints for proposed solutions and ongoing projects
  • Articulate decisions, rationales, and assumptions with both external clients and internal teams
  • Determine the best course of action on technical uncertainty, and include the best guess of effort
  • Estimate project effort for every department, and create optimal recommendations for cost and timeline
  • Visualize component stacks, integration dependencies, and data flows with architecture diagrams
  • Make the proposals look attractive with App designs, Innovative ideas, Product ROI, architecture diagrams, etc
  • Competitor and Market analysis to pitch value proposition during Bid
  • Invest in internal process improvement and tooling development
  • Collaborate with on-site as well as offshore teams
  • Improve proposal templates on an ongoing basis
  • Understand and define API specifications (Server-side and client-side)
  • Ensure that technology standards and best practices are up-to-date
  • Competitor and Market analysis to pitch value proposition during Bid
  • Identify sales leads through Market Research
  • Profile prospects and identify sales opportunities through market news and events
  • Success in this role requires a passion for leadership, a desire to deliver great products, a strong work ethic, excellent collaboration skills, and a relentless focus on what’s best for our people and clients
  • Coordinate with on-site as well as an offshore development team

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • A highly technical background (i.e. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Experience working on iOS, Android, Web, or API projects
  • Experience creating various types of technical diagrams with tools
  • Experience or understanding of the Agile methodology
  • Experience in solution architecture
  • You are comfortable with estimating tasks
  • You are comfortable with uncertainty/unknowns and resourceful in researching information either via hands-on experimentation or exploration of documentation
  • You are paranoid about risks that can impact projects, and anticipatory worst-case planning comes like second nature to you
  • You can work autonomously, self-prioritizing and managing your time, switching between multiple projects and environments as required, to deliver high-priority items quickly
  • You have impeccable attention to detail while moving in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a proven track record of leading successful projects through the software development life-cycle
