Our valued Public Sector clients are in need of a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist (PIA) who support maintaining privacy integrity for a public sector procurement platform .
Background :
Our valued clients are currently in the final phase of a multiphase implementation initiative which supports the procurement for all public sector organizations across the country.
The implementation they have been working on is a new procurement platform which is set to go live in the next few months.
As this portal is made live our clients suspect that there will be a need to conduct a high level review of their data privacy policies as they look to add more functionality and applications to the portal.
In order to support their data privacy needs our clients would like to bring on a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist who can provide support on an as when needed basis for any future needs that arise.
Responsibilities :
- Provide privacy consulting services to various projects and teams by reviewing project documentation to ensure privacy requirements are embedded in the project design.
- Coordinate with the GC Privacy office if there are any privacy incidents and assist in completing required quarterly audits.
- Contributes to the implementation of the privacy program and subsequent monitoring.
- Contributes to the privacy training and awareness program ; develops and presents privacy trainings and tracks compliance to training requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable international, federal, provincial and local regulatory agency guidelines and laws .
- Assist in any p rivacy breach notifications .
Must have :
- Experience with GC Privacy Regulations
- Experience with privacy breach notifications
- Government Clearance at the level of Secret (Level 2) or above
