Job descriptionThe ability to assess, diagnose and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to material handling equipment is required. Previous forklift experience is of course an asset, as well as familiarity with hydraulic systems and electronic troubleshooting. A keen mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning will be valuable skills to help you grow in this position, as well as the ability to always represent our Company in a courteous and professional manner. You will be required to prepare legible work orders, communicate with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, order parts for service jobs, and you will work with dispatch to maximize your productivity on the road. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Forklift Technicians : Harvey 2629
We are a well-established full-service Forklift dealer looking to add to our service team.
We currently have an opening for a road technician for the Lower Mainland.
As one of our mobile specialists you will enjoy the use of your own fully stocked service vehicle, full dealership support including a fully stocked parts department, and up to date Manufacturer's training on the latest technology and product lines.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- The successful applicants will be an integral part of our service team, maintaining and repairing a variety of customer machinery, as well as our own rental and sales equipment in the field.
- We specialize in both electric and IC forklifts but also work on dock plates, scissor lifts, man lifts, sweeper scrubbers and electric powered units of all kinds.
- The duties of this position will be varied and diverse, as you will be working on a variety of equipment that changes every day.
- We sell and service LPG, Diesel, gasoline and electric-powered forklifts so experience with these types of machines is an asset.
- We are also a leader in lithium-ion lift trucks, and you will be fully trained in this emerging technology as we grow in that exciting new market.
Qualifications and Skills :
This is a Full-time position
Salary of $32.00-$52.00 per hour depending on experience
