Sterling Crane is looking to fill the position of Crane & Rigging Supervisor based in Coquitlam, BC. This is an hourly position reporting to the Branch Manager. This position works very closely with both our customers and our employees, focusing on the safe execution of the day-to-day crane business.

CRANE & RIGGING SUPERVISOR

Coquitlam, BC

Responsibilities:

• Leading Toolbox Talks and Safety Meetings.
• Completing Operator Competency Reports and Site Observations.
• Scaling, sizing, and effectively bidding jobs.
• Review and approval of customer work methods.
• On-site lift supervision.
• Supporting dispatch.
• Sales contacts with customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Journeyman with BC Certificate of Qualification and Red Seal Endorsement for mobile crane operation is preferred.
• Previous supervision experience would be considered an asset.
• Candidates with experience in the construction market and/or crane industry will be given priority.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License; Class 1 Drivers License considered an asset.
• Proven record of building relationships with customers and excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter able to work on their own, as well as in a team environment.
• The successful candidate will be required to be in good standing with IUOE 115 or become member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115.
