Working under moderate supervision, this position, Solution Architect (SA), will be the primary owner of technical and design workflow for Professional Services across Watson Health Imaging (WHI) solutions.
This role will work closely with both Resource and Project managers to assign, schedule and execute project implementations.
Essential JobDuties
Assist in managing department objectives / plans and projects commensurate with meeting team and company goals to insure customer satisfaction, promote revenue / success and customer retention
Handle technical side of Project Charter review.
Ownership of technical component of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects.
Will assist Project Manager with deliverable schedule, sequence of tasks and appropriate milestones.
Work closely with the Resource and Project Managers on assigned tasks per resource, including assignment, scheduling, execution and monitoring of WHI product implementations
Will own Change Control process for any technical issues.
Technical mentorship for all Professional Services staff, including Solution Consultants, Implementation & Custom Engineers, and Project Managers.
Professional Services representative for Program Management discussions
Point of contact to assist Sales with technical concerns
Assist in developing successful solution testing processes.
Creation of solution test plans with Subject Matter Experts.
Standardizing of Best Practices around workflow and third party integrations.
Will assist with and own signoff on Pre Go-Live checklists for all solutions.
Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Preferred Knowledge &Experience
SME on one or more core WHI solution.
Five (5) years of Healthcare IT experience.
Strong background in Microsoft, DICOM, HL-7 and health science informatics.
Strong background with Visio and Sharepoint.
Ability to mentor and lead a specialized technical team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
EducationRequirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
