Full-Time Position – Monday to Friday – Permanent – 40 Hours weekly

Rudan Holdings Limited is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in Sage Simply Accounting software as well as Excel. This is an in-office position that offers competitive wages dependent on the level of experience and education.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bank reconciliation records.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as needed for owners and accountants when needed.
  • Perform government tax reporting, payments, and account reconciliations. HST, Corp. Tax, WSIB, Source Deductions, EHT, T4’s as well as annual filings.
  • Support audit requirements as needed.
  • Manage all ledgers, general, payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Perform office duties
  • Manage the banks for online payments, wires, e-transfers and all banking for several companies.
  • Preparing Bank deposits and attend at the bank when needed.
  • Manage Year End Reporting to accountants and reconciling all ledger accounts.
  • To oversee your co-worker and all her duties, work with managers when they need your help.
  • Reconcile credit cards
  • Report any insurance claims, work with adjusters and lawyers and collect all information necessary.
  • Strong technical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Able to be a self starter with ability to work independently as well build relationships with team members and clients.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or equivalent in accounting from a Canadian Institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in Sage Simply books.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
