Invinityis seeking aProduct DevelopmentEngineer to join its product development org on theBalance of System Design team(Mechanical).Reporting to the Team Lead Balance of System you willbe responsible foridentifyingandunderstanding key parameters for new manufacturingmethods and processesand then collaborating with the design team to take full advantages of these new will be empowered to make key design and process decisions and work with others to evolveInvinitysproducts and processes.

Responsibilities :

• Identifynew manufacturing methods and processes work withinternaland externalpartnersto understandcapabilities and feedback information into the design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain manufacturing production & quality tolaunch new parts into production
• Evaluateprototypes andperformfirst article inspections providing feedback to suppliersand design team.
• Develop andconductverification testing to confirm product performancequalityand manufacturability.
• Product mechanical design includingcomponentdesigncomponentselectionand overall product design.
• Createandmaintain3D CAD models assembly and part drawings bills of materialscomponentand sub-system specifications.
• Create andmaintainengineering documentation (Specifications FMEAs FTAsetc)
• Travel to Suppliers(Domestic & International)toverify capabilities andevaluate prototypes

The salary range for this Mechanical Engineering role is $105000 to $120000 and will depend on your specific skills experience and education.

This is a hybrid role is based in our Vancouver office with flexible hourstocollaborate with our global suppliers (Europe / Asia)
