Reporting to the Regional Manager, IT Projects & Portfolio Management, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects or initiatives for Information and Technology (ITS) Services or designated programs / services within Northern Health (NH). Projects may involve process improvement and work redesign, productivity reviews, business analysis, technology implementation / deployment, staff deployment, and the provision of strategic information to support those processes. Working with stakeholders at all levels, the Project Manager inspires others to achieve goals and deliverables through facilitation, effective communication of corporate vision, and ensuring the culture is one in which individual competencies can thrive. The Project Manager provides expertise, education, and coaching to designated project staff as required. The Project Manager works closely with the Project Sponsors and project team to address the impact of any change to ensure an effective and efficient transition. The Project Manager will follow the guidelines established by the organizational and IT project management offices. The incumbent liaises with consultants, vendors and other health care entities and other external agencies to negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services as required. This position is a Health Information Management proponent, leading projects that maximize the benefits of integrated health information systems.
Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
