Job description

Bilingual Customer Care Representative

Our client in the insurance industry is looking to hire 10 Bilingual Customer Care Representatives to support their Group Benefits team during a peak period. In this role you will have the opportunity to assist plan members with health dental life and critical illness benefits ensuring they receive timely and accurate support when it matters most.

What is in it for you :

Hourly salary $25.04.

6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Hybrid work : 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

5week training period : Monday to Friday 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. AST.

Posttraining shifts : Rotational schedule between 9 : 00 a.m. and 9 : 00 p.m. AST Monday to Friday.

Flexibility required for overtime and nonstatutory holiday shifts.

Responsibilities :

Manage inbound customer calls for 7 hours daily addressing a variety of client inquiries.

Resolve issues related to group insurance plan files ensuring customer satisfaction.

Participate in monthly coaching sessions and weekly rolespecific microlearning.

Engage in inperson collaboration with colleagues for call debriefs shadowing and support.

Use Microsoft apps (Teams Outlook) to handle communications and daily tasks effectively.

What you will need to succeed :

High school diploma required; college degree considered an asset.

5 to 7 years of customer service experience ideally in a contact center retail or service environment.

Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages.

Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage customer inquiries effectively.

Proficiency with Microsoft apps including Teams and Outlook.

Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

Ability to thrive in fastpaced everchanging environments while maintaining professionalism.

Strong research skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple administrative systems.

Teamoriented reliable and able to manage ambiguity.

Familiarity with webbased applications and experience in group benefits or information centers is a plus.
