Avena is looking for an Operator to join our team. The position will be based in Regina SK or Rowatt SK depending on business needs. Reporting to the Plant Managerthis position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of milling equipment at a niche market oat processing plant.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate processing equipment and meet production goals with the ability to fine-tune and troubleshoot for optimization of production
• Organize shift activities and physically perform processing / milling sanitation and reporting activities
• Ensure safe effective and efficient operation of the processing / milling equipment through following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting specification and quality standards through the processing / milling
• Contribute to positive work relationships with co-workers
• Submit complete written reports for production and other administrative documents as required
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Avena Oats operations with recommendations
