Pay : 16 : 50 / hr
Job Summary : The Assembler 1 is responsible for performing duties within the assigned manufacturing cell and station. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, proper use of PPE, and working collaboratively in a team environment.
Assembler 1 will work at the established rate to ensure continuous workflow on the production line. They will follow written and verbal instructions, accept feedback, and maintain quality and quantity standards in their tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform assigned tasks in the manufacturing cell, following safety requirements and using proper PPE.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure continuous workflow on the production line.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from trainers or group leads.
- Report to the assigned line on time at the beginning of the shift and after breaks.
- Execute assigned operations and provide brief verbal descriptions of tasks when needed.
- Maintain quality and quantity standards at the workstation.
- Perform self-inspection of completed tasks.
- Assemble simple assemblies, subassemblies, and box assemblies.
- Apply manual labeling to products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 6S standards.
- Perform housekeeping audits as needed.
- Pay close attention to detail and ensure product quality.
Skills and Abilities :
- Dexterity to handle simple assemblies and subassemblies.
- Ability to perform basic math operations.
- Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to accept feedback and coaching from trainers and group leads.
- Capability to maintain quality and quantity production standards.
Physical Demands :
- Standing for most of the 8-hour shift.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Occasional pulling and pushing tasks.
Additional Requirements :
- Must be punctual and report to the assigned line on time.
- Must adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required for the line.
- Perform other duties as required.
