We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our AI products team and drive the development of innovative AI solutions that will have a transformative impact on the legal industry.

This role can be performed from one of our Canadian offices, or remotely from the US or Canada or a combination of both. Some exceptions may apply.

What you'll work on :

As the Senior Product Manager for AI products at Clio, you will spearhead the vision, strategy, and roadmap execution within our suite of AI-powered products.

Your leadership will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision for leveraging AI to transform the legal industry for all.

From enhancing daily workflows and improving productivity with Clio Duo, to providing a comprehensive platform for law firm management with Clio Manage, optimizing client acquisition and relationship management with Clio Grow, simplifying financial operations with Clio Accounting, revolutionizing document management with Clio Document Automation, and driving data-driven AI solutions within the Clio Intelligence Platform, your role will be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to legal professionals world-wide.

Leveraging your expertise in generative and predictive AI, you will guide the development of products that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making within legal practices.

Product Leadership & Collaboration :

  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, design and product marketing teams on crafting and executing the AI vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for AI solutions tailored to the legal industry.
  • Collaborate closely with legal experts, technology teams, and stakeholders to align product development with the specific needs of law firms.

Product Development :

  • Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of AI products, incorporating generative and predictive AI technologies to address legal challenges.
  • Define product requirements based on legal industry trends, compliance standards, and client feedback.
  • Clear articulation of various monetization strategies with roadmap execution to increase revenue from AI products and how ClioIntelligence can help achieve them.

Team Leadership :

Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and a deep understanding of the legal domain.

Market Analysis :

  • Stay informed about advancements in generative and predictive AI, machine learning, and legal tech.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges unique to the legal industry.

What you bring : Experience :

Experience :

  • Demonstrated success bringing AI and ML based products and features to market.
  • Experience in assessing opportunity size for AI products that incorporate generative and predictive AI technologies.
  • Experience assessing AI metrics and business impact of AI products.
  • 4 years plus experience in product management
  • Product development with a focus on AI solutions.

Technical Skills :

  • Good understanding of the LLM space and other NLP (bert models, transformers) concepts.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools relevant to legal applications.

Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals.

Bonus points if you have :

Legal Tech Acumen :

  • Strong understanding of legal tech trends, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between legal requirements and technological solutions.

The expected salary range* for this role is $152,000 to $228,100 CAD. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.

Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio.

For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio.

Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
