Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Licensed P.Eng. to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in drafting, schematics, and CAD software. This role involves designing, developing, and stamping design drawings, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications.

Must be willing to work in person at our Hamilton office, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Knowledge of building codes, compliance requirements, and AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design and draft detailed schematics for mechanical systems using CAD software.
  • Work on both residential and commercial architectural design disciplines.
  • Seal or stamp drawings, assuming professional responsibility as a P.Eng.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for mechanical challenges.
  • Analyze project requirements and create effective designs.
  • Document processes, findings, and modifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and drafting schematics.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with ability to stamp drawings (PEO).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
