Our family is seeking a responsible, caring individual to join us as a live-out nanny to care for our two children and assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Our previous nanny was with us for 3.5 years and is only leaving due to a move to another province.We are a family of four, with two daughters aged 6 and 3.
5 years, and a friendly golden doodle named Henry. Our primary focus is the well-being and happiness of our children, so we are looking for someone who has experience working with primary school-aged children and is knowledgeable in CPR.
The ideal candidate will : * Be active and enjoy outdoor adventures like trips to the park, rain or shine* Have a clean, full driver's license and be comfortable driving across Vancouver (car provided)* Support with homework, art projects, and reading* Occasionally help walk Henry (our dog), though this is not requiredRole Details : * Full-time hours : 7 : 45 am 4 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility* Our youngest attends school from 12 : 30 pm 3 : 00 pm, so during this time, you'd assist with laundry, family meal prep, tidying, and other light household tasks (we also have a cleaner).
There's flexibility for you to take a break during this time if it fits better with your schedule.* In the mornings, you'll take our youngest to activities and come up with fun, engaging plans for her* Some overlap with our current nanny, who will be leaving between Nov 22-29th, is preferred for a smooth transition, though this is negotiableRequirements : * Clean background check* Valid working permit for Canada* CPR certification (First Aid is a plus)* ECE certification or relevant experience is preferred* Fluent in English or strong communication skills* Ability to start around mid / late NovemberHourly rate is based on experience and ranges from $25 $30 per hour.
