Robert Half is currently searching for a professional Senior Accountant in Chilliwack BC! This position will be a key contributor to the success of the company and finance team. While reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will be supporting month-end reporting, financial statement preparation, preparation of operational reports, financial & costing analysis, WIP reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and foreign exchange transactions.

Key projects that the position can contribute to long term :

• ERP Implementation
• Automation of the reporting process
• Prepare financial models using Power BI

Job Requirements :

You will meet the following job requirements :

1. 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience in a similar position, working in a senior capacity

2. Accounting education is needed; CPA enrollment or designation will be considered an asset

3. Experience working with ERP systems & strong Excel skills are required

4. Previous experience with costing, inventory, IFRS and / or US GAAP will be considered an asset

5. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are required

7. Technical skills and ability to manipulate data to create financial reports
