Horizon Recruitment Inc. is looking for an experienced Procurement Analyst for a 6 month contract position with our high profile, BC based client . This role will work closely with materials management, fleet and procurement teams to ensure materials and equipment are available in a timely manner with limited warehousing space and critical timelines.
To be successful this role will require a candidate with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volume PO's with materials and equipment vendors.
Responsibilities :
- Forecast raw material requirements using historical data, sales forecasts and manufacturing schedules
- Inventory management and monitoring of safety stock levels
- Create costing models for landed materials
- Support procurement team
- Manage materials and setup in ERP system
- Monthly reporting
- Vendor KPI management
- Create process and procedures to improve operations
- Requirements :
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in working within supply chain
- Data analysis experience an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to work closely with all corporate and manufacturing teams
- Proven experience working within a rapidly changing, high paced organization
Rewards : - 30-40 / hr.
