Location: Remote in Canada

Shift: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Description of Role:

*Must have Minimum 5 years brokerage experience.

*CCS Designation is required

The Customs Business Analyst focuses on analyzing and improving processes related to the ITMR system. Your primary responsibility is to enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize client satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams to understand Operational needs and translate them into actionable strategies.

• Manages the Database Review, Schedules, and ITMR4 Helpdesk emails
• Responsible for timely and accurate data review on live shipments
• Provides expert advice on customs laws, rules, regulations, and procedures
• Analyze current customs clearance processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain SOP’s for ITMR4
• Maintain communication with management concerning compliance issues and provides recommendations
• Participate in courses/webinars identified by Management and provide constructive feedback
• Regularly review client databases to ensure uniform information is available for other teams
• Lead or support projects related to system enhancements, or regulatory updates
• All other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required. College Diploma an asset
• Minimum five (5) years Customs Brokerage experience
• Strong working knowledge of ITMR, ECM systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, word, Outlook
• CCS Designation is required, CTCS preferred
