Our client, a key player in the expanded plastics industry, is seeking a professional dedicated to the commercialization of its recycled plastic products, particularly polypropylene. This strategic role aims to strengthen relationships with clients and suppliers while actively contributing to the organization's environmental and commercial mission.

  • Salary : $80.000 to $100.000 per year, depending on experience, with commissions or bonuses to be discussed.

Responsibilities :

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves developing and executing a business development strategy. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the sales team, ensuring that strategic objectives are met and that the company continues to grow in a competitive market.

  • Promote products and services related to recycled plastics, particularly polypropylene, to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of sale and purchase in accordance with company standards.
  • Use and keep CRM tools up to date to ensure rigorous tracking of client interactions and sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve desired profitability.
  • Rigorously follow procedures and instructions associated with the position.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Uphold and promote the mission, values, and policies of the organization.
  • Communicate any updates, anomalies, or particular situations to your manager or concerned colleagues.
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the superior or necessary for the proper execution of functions.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Experience in sales in the recycled plastics sector.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (an asset).
  • Communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Client-oriented and able to establish trust-based relationships.
  • Autonomy and sense of initiative.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work in a team.
