The Role :
- The role of a Conveyor Belt Splicer will be responsible for leading our junior technicians to perform service works at customer sites, which includes but is not limited to installation and vulcanization of conveyor belts, lagging of pulleys, installation of repair fasteners, and so on.
- Youll travel regularly to visit quarries, mines, and cement plants, and ensure that all our customers are up and running again as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- This role requires leadership skills and the ability to work away from the office / warehouse setting as a team with limited supervision.

Education / Qualifications :
Completion of secondary schoolGeneral mechanical aptitudeMinimum 2 years of experience in conveyor belt splicing or rubber lining.Experience working outdoors (cold, heat, noise) in a physically demanding roleAbility to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another personStrong work ethic, self-motivated, a go-getterWork Condition and Physical Capabilities :

Responsibilities
Perform and assist with heavy-duty conveyor belt installation & vulcanizationPerform Hot, Cold & mechanical SplicingExecute lagging of pulleys, installation of repair fasteners, and Rubber liningSet up, operate and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding and curing rubber materials or rubber productsLayout and prepare rubber materials for assembly, Operate machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit, and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products.Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures.Provided training and supervision for junior techniciansEnsure safety complianceWhat We Offer
