• Lead the development of Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, following modern engineering principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-performing, user-friendly mobile experiences.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of features with high standards of quality and performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and libraries—particularly in Android and Jetpack Compose.
• Contribute to team initiatives and provide valuable technical input during planning and architecture discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their development in Android engineering and system design.
• Work cross-functionally with developers across iOS, Web, API, and other platforms to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Own major components of the mobile platform, working with senior engineers to maintain architectural integrity.
• Promote best practices and process improvements across teams, continuously improving team efficiency and code quality.
• Tackle technical challenges with creative problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
• Conduct code reviews, providing thoughtful and constructive feedback to maintain clean, idiomatic Kotlin and Compose code.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)
• 2+ years of experience building native Android applications
• 2+ years of experience with Kotlin

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience
• 3+ years of Kotlin experience
• 1+ year of experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience working with open-source frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
