Position Details
Job Summary
The Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) plays a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children within the Childcare Centre. The RECE will be responsible for planning and implementing age‑appropriate programs and activities that foster learning and development, supporting the emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of each child. Responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the classroom, toys, and learning materials; assisting with mealtimes, rest periods, and transitions between activities; managing behaviours; promoting inclusive practices; fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere; maintaining detailed documentation of children’s progress, incidents, and attendance; and collaborating with families to support each child’s development. The RECE will ensure that children are supervised at all times and are actively engaged in learning experiences.
