Job descriptionCandidates must have experience in planning and scheduling. Requires completion of 4 years of University in subjects such as mechanical, electrical, and physics, to assess, coordinate, and recommend plans for the programming of the commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a large industrial operation. Experience in Hydro or Thermal power generation is an asset. Requires knowledge of English to prepare the necessary reports, proposals, and recommendations. Requires industrial generating station experience of the following types : (a) shift operations / maintenance to be aware of the operating / maintenance procedures, field execution, and maintenance requirements. (b) Technical experience in a station technical group such as Engineering. (c) Experience as technician / assistant supervisor. (d) On-the-job experience having worked with procedures, policies, routines, and personnel. A period of over 6 years and up to and including 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
