Leadership :
- Develops and implements innovative procedures to enhance the efficiency and caliber of student support services.
- Collaborates with sister campuses in Toronto and Vancouver to standardize best practices while adhering to local regulations.
- Guides a team of direct reports through regular meetings aimed at nurturing their professional growth.
- Supports the Education Director in upholding service excellence.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies such as Languages Canada, MCU and PTIB
- Escalates pertinent issues to relevant stakeholders as necessary.
Administration :
- Manages administrative email accounts in conjunction with the Student Services Coordinator team.
- Provides frontline student / customer support and manages phone inquiries.
- Ensures delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Supervises reception duties and oversees payment processing.
- Coordinates with internal and external teams to oversee facility maintenance.
- Oversees campus opening and closing procedures.
- Manages various database tasks, including student class allocations.
- Oversees creation, maintenance, and updating of essential documents such as contracts, student reports, and transcripts.
- Facilitates orientation and graduation processes, including event coordination and diploma distribution.
- Ensures administrative compliance with management, including contracts, policies, and enrollment documentation.
- Monitors and documents student Study Permits and Work Permits.
- Collaborates with the registration team on pending student matters.
- Assists accounting and finance teams with invoicing, payments, and tax related procedures.
- Supports Education Director and Associate Vice President, Operations with assigned tasks and projects.
- Performs other administrative duties as required.
Student Advising :
- Manages student enrollments and provides guidance on study plans and pathway programs.
- Adjusts invoices and student data as needed for program changes.
- Processes refunds in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Addresses non-academic queries and concerns from current students.
- Assists with program enrollment and extensions.
- Liaises with assigned agents / partners on student-related matters
