We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.I'm looking for an Investment Accountant who will be responsible for the overall accounting and financial management of individuals, their holding companies, trusts and foundations. My client is located downtown Montreal. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2-3 days remote).Your responsibilities : - Handling customer accounting files- Accounting for banking and investment transactions- Preparation of financial statements- Preparation of tax forms- Follow-up of payment schedules- Preparation of personal, corporate, and trust tax returns- Preparation of annual foundation returns- Participation in the development of financial, tax, and estate planning- Coordination with the investment teamYour profile : - Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration- Experience with investment accounting and personal taxation- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience- Bilingual, French and English- CPA designation (an asset)- Experience in an accounting firm (an asset)- Knowledge of Caseware, DTMax, and TaxPrep (an asset)
