Job Description : Cello Teacher (Summer 2025 Opportunity in Asian Countries)

Contract : 1099 Contract / T1

Saint Laurent Consulting is excited to support an international teaching institute in hiring a passionate and skilled Cello Teacher for a unique summer teaching experience. This opportunity involves working with junior and high school students in Asian countries during July-August 2025.

Key Details :

  • Travel Requirements : The position requires travel to an Asian country. Flights and accommodation will be covered.
  • Teaching Focus : Engage with junior and high school students, nurturing their musical talents and helping them develop their cello skills. Organize a performance at the end of the program.
  • Portfolio Requirement : Candidates should be able to provide a portfolio showcasing their work (e.g., musical performances, teaching methods, or relevant articles).

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct engaging and interactive cello lessons tailored to the skill levels of junior and high school students.
  • Inspire and mentor students to enhance their musical abilities and appreciation for the cello.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in musical events or activities organized by the institute during the summer program.
  • Qualifications :

  • Strong proficiency in cello performance and teaching.
  • Experience working with students, particularly at the junior and high school levels.
  • A passion for music education and fostering young talent.
  • Previous experience in an international teaching setting is a plus.
  • A degree from a well-known musical institution is a significant advantage.
