Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dynamic and results-driven Change & Communications Specialist (independent contract) to join our client's team. You will play a pivotal role in managing organizational change initiatives and delivering clear, effective communication strategies that support transformation projects. This position requires a creative thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Pay Rate : up to $81.00 / hour (based on experience)
  • Location : Kitimat, BC or remote (Reporting to Brisbane, Australia so need to accommodate time schedule for that)
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time | 6-month contract

Responsibilities :

Program Communication Tactics + Execution

  • Support the development of program communications and engagement strategy.
  • Work closely with site comms teams and key stakeholders to support initiatives and align activities across sites and product group.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications channels, such as the Spare Parts SharePoint, Viva, emails and video
  • Lead the development and posting of content, telling our news and stories through an innovative, multi-channel approach - improving existing, while identifying and developing new internal channels and methods
  • Encourage two-way communications by establishing channels, forums and responsive feedback to drive engagement
  • Devise compelling and creative internal campaigns and assets to support key strategies to build employee engagement, commitment and enthusiasm
  • Change Management

  • Support stream leads on change management activities of the program with a focus on effective, sustainable change delivery.
  • Support and develop change management plans, including communications plans to lead employees through structured change management activities so there is consistency in adopting change for every employee and team impacted.
  • Identify potential points of resistance to change and develop plans to reduce resistance and address doubts and uncertainty surrounding the change.
  • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, change management or Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience in change management, corporate communications, or a similar role.
  • Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR) is an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including MS Office, SharePoint, and communication tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
