Art Director

Our client is a well-known Fashion Brand. they require a multi-talented Art Director to work in their Toronto office.

Reporting to : Director of Creative Operations : • You are multi-faceted creative with a passion for fashion and culture • You have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in your ability to translate high-level ideas into tangible creative briefs and elevated content • You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment Key Responsibilities : • Collaborate with team members to create a compelling range of marketing content • Work with creative leadership to build and refine creative briefs that outline mood, lighting, casting, props, locations, shot lists, product styling, brand guidelines, and more • Articulate creative cues to internal and external partners with clarity and professionalism, always using visual reference points • Manage post-production including editing, retouching and cropping for a wide range of deliverables, ensuring content is to a high standard and taste level • Make image selects as necessary for various platform uses (ex. website landing page, newsletter, and e-commerce on-figure) • Work on-set as needed to help direct creatives and execute project vision • Ensure that all projects stay within communicated deadlines and budgets and work to provide creative solutions when needed • Responsible for file management and delivery of approved assets to various partners for weekly product releases • Create elevated layouts and graphics that align with brand standards • Under direction of creative leadership, work to implement a consistent visual voice across all marketing materials • Stay up to date on industry trends and the needs of our clientele to help inform our creative approach and best practices

Requirements : Art Director experience at a fashion brand or creative agency Experience working across integrated marketing projects of various scales – from initial conception, to developing treatments / briefs, to final execution and delivery Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote

Experience with Premiere and other motion design programs is a plus

Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

Expert knowledge of photo and video workflow with image retouching experience Strong attention to detail

Excellent time management and ability to multitask
