We are currently partnered with an established energy company in Calgary, seeking a Contingent Labour Analyst. The Contingent Labour Analyst supports the effective delivery of day-to-day contract labour administration. This role partners closely with internal business teams to understand requirements, gather and analyze data, create and manage contractor service orders, and support solutions for complex contingent workforce arrangements across multiple operating locations.
The successful candidate will be customer-focused, highly detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to proactively deliver practical solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment influenced by project demands and business cycle timelines.
Please note : this is a 12-month contract opportunity, on-site, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day activities and responsibilities of the Contingent Labour team
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of Contractor Service Orders, ensuring accuracy and currency
- Proactively identify and communicate upcoming contract expirations
- Collect, analyze, and manage data on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
- Understand relevant enterprise systems and how information flows to support contingent labour processes and service order delivery
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, provide guidance, maintain agreements, and implement changes to contingent worker arrangements
- Monitor and assess issues impacting service orders and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
- Liaise directly with suppliers to support delivery of a consistent service model
- Perform ongoing quality control of data and reporting
- Support supplier invoice validation activities
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in administration and client service, preferably within a complex or regulated industryStrong proficiency with Microsoft ExcelUndergraduate degree in a business-related field (preferred)Experience with enterprise HR or workflow systems (e.g., Workday) is an assetExperience with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) is an assetStrong data analysis and document management capabilitiesExcellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detailResourceful and able to locate and synthesize information from multiple internal sourcesSolid understanding of process and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environmentCollaborative team player with a positive, customer-focused approach
