We are currently seeking Electricians for our various remote Canadian project locations!
Responsibilities :
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical components.
- Testing circuits and connections using electrical test equipment.
- Inspecting equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are completed, while adhering to timelines and budget restrictions.
- Responsible for ordering electrical parts
- Preparation and site clean-up, including rubbish removal.
- Proficient with building code regulations as it relates to worksite building electrical assembly and repairs.
- Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation as per process / protocol to ensure cost effectiveness and budget allocation.
- Provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Understand the basics of reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and support monthly work-site inspections.
- Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
- Notify Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.
- Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
- Actively participate as a high performing, team member.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Minimum of one (3) year working in a construction field electrician in a camp environmentCertified Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) required.Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to work a rotation schedule.Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shift.How
