Summary / objective
The Manager, Communications, Repair OnDemand, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategies to ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging both within the organization and to our external audiences.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can collaborate across departments to identify content opportunities, develop compelling content, and foster effective communication practices that support our business goals.

- Collaborate with sales, customer success, product marketing, HR, and other internal teams to identify key trends, themes, and content opportunities that support both internal communication needs and external product and sales goals.
- Develop and implement communication strategies that ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging across both internal and external audiences, aligned with company goals, values, and objectives.
- Guide the content strategy, editorial calendar, and workflows to align with marketing, sales, and internal communication objectives.
- Create B2B marketing content tailored to key external audiences and personas in various formats including video, webinars, infographics, blogs, newsletters, and presentations.
- Develop and implement an internal communications strategy to ensure all employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals, values, and initiatives.
- Manage the creation and distribution of internal content that supports company-wide updates, leadership communications, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Create and manage external marketing content that builds brand preference, audience engagement, digital authority, and website traffic.
- Manage writers, editors, partners, and customers in the creation of content, overseeing the use of content budgets to achieve goals.
- Use data, research, and collaboration to create and manage strategies that align content creation with campaign themes, content formats, target audiences, SEO keywords, and internal communication objectives.
- Continuously assess and refine communication strategies based on performance data and feedback from stakeholders.
- Develop and manage editorial governance to ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone across both internal and external communications.
- Identify creative ways to repurpose, repackage, and reuse content for distribution to broader external audiences and adapt content for internal communications.
- Serve as the chief content evangelist to internally educate teams on content plans and strategies, championing effective communication practices across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, media, or journalism preferred.
- 5+ years of related marketing and communications experience (e.g., publishing, editorial, journalism, content marketing, copywriting, digital marketing)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
- Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
- Ability to analyze content and social media performance, create compelling content based on insights, and effectively present findings to optimize future strategies.
- Project management skills and capabilities to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a
complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales.
- Proven ability to understand and work with buyer personas.
- Proven ability to manage relationships and influence effectively at all levels within the team and organization.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently take charge of new projects, even amidst ambiguity.
- Exceptional writing skills and willingness to share writing examples.
- Experience with WordPress, Google analytics, and the top social channels
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts, tools, and markets.

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
Physical demands
Physical requirements include occasional lifting / carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
Travel required
This position will require only occasional travel for periodic team meetings and client site visits.
