OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist creates visually compelling materials that bring the Black & McDonald brand and messages to life across multiple platforms. This hybrid role combines graphic design, video editing, and photography, supporting both digital and print communications. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with strong design instincts and proficiency in multimedia tools, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design high‑quality graphics for web, digital signage, social media, trade shows, presentations, and print materials.
• Manage production and delivery of corporate collaterals - brochures, signage, trade show booths and banners
• Produce and edit short‑form videos for internal and external channels (e.g., promotional clips, social media reels, campaign videos).
• Capture and edit photos for projects, campaigns, and events as needed.
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets and ensure adherence to visual identity guidelines.
• Manage multiple creative requests, balancing quality and accuracy to meet deadlines.
• Stay current on design trends, emerging tools, and digital media best practices.

WORKLOAD SPLIT

70% Graphic Design | 20% Photography and On‑Site Shoots | 10% Video Editing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or degree in graphic design, multimedia, or visual communications.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and digital media composition.
• Great eye for design with a strong focus on quality and accuracy in all materials produced.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a creative team.
