One of our food processing clients in Winnipeg MB is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing facility.

Shift - Night

Pay - $41-$46/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive corrective and predictive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Repair or replace faulty components including motors conveyors pumps sensors valves and bearings

• Support breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and production losses

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs

• Ensure all work complies with food safety GMP HACCP and sanitation standards

• Assist with installation modification and commissioning of new equipment

• Perform routine inspections to identify potential failures

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensed / Ticketed:

• Millwright red seal license holder

Non-Ticket:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or similar industrial environment

General:

• Knowledge of conveyors fillers mixers ovens packaging lines and refrigeration systems

• Basic PLC troubleshooting is an asset

• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends

• Strong safety awareness and communication skills
