Co‑op Opportunity
Qnity – EIDCA Specialty Products Company is a global technology leader providing advanced materials and solutions that power next‑generation semiconductor and electronics innovation. To meet new challenges in an ever‑changing and fast‑paced environment, we have opportunities for a 12‑16 month chemistry, analytical chemistry or chemical engineering co‑op students at the Qnity Kingston Technology Centre (Kingston, Ontario) starting in May 2026. These students will work on project teams to support process and product development in our Semiconductor Technology or Interconnect Solutions business units.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have a solid educational background and will preferably have some previous research experience. Preference will be given to candidates in their 3rd year or above. The individuals will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability and desire to be effective team members. As the project work evolves, flexibility will be required in terms of willingness to take on different work and to be flexible in work schedules. Strong skills in MS Office tools will be beneficial (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Term and Compensation
The initial term of employment will be for 12 months at an average of 37.5 hours / week with the possibility of an extension to a maximum of 16 months.
The base pay range for this role is $20–$25 per hour.
