This is a fast-paced, team-oriented branch that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The parts and service coordinator is an important position within our service department, not only ensuring that we have the supplies and information to keep our equipment available but in maintaining our customers' requirements. It is a vital step in promoting the success of our customer relationships.Service Coordinator Responsibilities : Provide excellent customer relations through phone, email and face-to-face, while keeping a positive and professional attitude; Perform assigned tasks with attention to detail and effectively organize all documentation within Company software;Provide administrative, warranty, and invoicing support;On-call work schedules may be required;Operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers;Provide repair and service quotes to customers;Ensure technicians parts ordered and allocated to proper equipment;Enter work orders for internal machines;Allocate parts to specific work orders;Monitor and track outstanding parts orders;Run daily reports to monitor business functions, including but not limited to, work orders and purchase orders;Responsible for communicating with Regional Service managers to facilitate the movement of equipment between branches that needs to be repaired, based on the location best equipped to complete the task;Submit warranty claims;Monitor and maintain parts inventory; facilitate with suppliers to order and stocks parts;Closing off work orders and internal orders in a timely matter while ensuring accuracy of parts and labor billed;Oversee the repair process, follow up with technicians on status of repairs and update work orders accordingly;Invoice orders as needed. Key Qualifications :  The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude;Proficient in organization and process fulfillment, attention to detail, and paperwork organization;Excellent communication and people skills on both an internal and external level;Previous experience working with technicians and in a similar and / or related parts environment;Knowledge in the creation of parts orders and work orders, developing and receiving purchase orders, inventory management, and estimate preparation;The ability to adapt to on-call work schedules; (Some Saturday's on an as needed basis)Efficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically : Outlook, Word, and Excel;The desire to work effectively within a team environment;On-Call work schedules may be required. Additional Qualifications : Proficiency / prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.Job Type : Full-time Salary : $20.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience. Benefits : Company pensionDental careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee stock purchase planExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingStock optionsVision care Schedule : Day shiftMonday to FridayBattlefield Equipment is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
