The Role

As a Roofing Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

You will lead our roofing crews with professionalism and provide clear communication to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily on-site operations for multiple roofing projects.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate roofing crews to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure all work is completed to Stybek's high-quality standards and complies with client specifications.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Estimator to develop project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and address any challenges.
• Conduct thorough roof investigations when needed to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, site conditions, and material usage.
• Liaise with clients and other project stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
• Provide technical guidance and support for all roofing application systems.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites across the province.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial flat roofing, with a strong background in all roofing application systems, including single-ply, flameless modified bitumen, and metal roofing.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively using digital tools.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to enforcing them on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using project management software and digital tools is an asset.
• Valid G license with a clean driving record.
