Fasten your seat belt! Fix Network is looking for a Director of Sales. In this role you will be primarily responsible for building key customer relationships with new and existing insurance compagny .

The Sales Director will work with staff from various departments to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.

You will support existing customers & partners to ensure ongoing satisfaction, retain business and will cold-call within a defined market or geographic area to ensure continual opportunities for business growth within corporate and fleet customers.

What is the role?

  • Build key customer relationships with insurance compagny.
  • Work with staff from various departments to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue
  • Manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction, understand their automotive business needs, objectives and retain business
  • Cold-call within a defined market or geographic area to ensure continual opportunities for business growth
  • Conduct research, develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Identify business opportunities, generate warm leads, and seek out partnerships
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Develop a rapport with new clients
  • Source and respond to RFP (Report for Proposal) at a national, provincial and municipal level
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Handle client objections by clarifying information, emphasizing benefits, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Predict clients’ future needs and devise strategies and action plans to meet those needs
  • Set sales targets and provide sales support
  • Liaise with senior management in order to determine organizational strategy and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on the company’s current product and service offerings
  • Work with technical staff and colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on emerging trends
  • Represent and attend NAFA (North American Fleet Administrators) events representing the Fix Automotive Network
  • Consult with and present to senior management on business trends in order to develop new services, products, and distribution channels
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, sales material and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales
  • Develop, manage, and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop short- and long-term strategic plans, including the preparation of annual business plans.
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Conduct sales forecasts and weekly and / or monthly status reports.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals and meet targets
  • Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate is someone with :

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the automotive aftermarket sector or a related industry
  • Ideally possess postsecondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
  • Proven understanding of the industry and track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
  • Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
  • Ability to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptions
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, and facts
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
