About the Role :

Position : Gameplay Animator

Location : Vancouver, BC

Summary :

Are you a Gameplay Animator with a passion for creating seamless, high-quality animation experiences in AAA games ? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team and work on an exciting first-party gaming project !

You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and animators to develop real-time animation systems using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) . You’ll contribute to creating animation state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions , ensuring both animation quality and gameplay responsiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement animation blueprints, state machines, and runtime solutions
  • Work with engineers and leads to create animation behavior tools for complex movement systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve in-game animation issues
  • Support the animation team with technical animation challenges
  • Improve the animation pipeline and workflow for greater efficiency

    • Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience in AAA video game development, working with real-time animation systems
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE5) and animation blueprints
  • Strong understanding of animation graphs, state machines, IK, and control rigs
  • Python scripting experience is a plus
  • Ability to problem-solve, collaborate, and communicate effectively
  • Passion for the gaming industry and a deep understanding of industry trends

    • Salary Range : $ 93000 - 100000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
