- Compensation : Proposed hiring rate of $20.50 to $22.80+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary
The Equipment Operator Level 1 is responsible for operating heavy equipment safely, cleaning, maintaining, and securing equipment, and providing courteous service to residents and the public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively to minimize injury, property damage, or loss of life.Follow all safety and maintenance procedures.Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.Clean equipment as scheduled.Ensure safe and secure storage of equipment.Advise Base Operations Supervisor of maintenance or repair needs.Participate in routine maintenance.Practice workplace safety.Maintain roads and transportation systems for safe roadway conditions.Maintain access to houses, water supply, and waste sites.Maintain easements.Perform seasonal maintenance on roads (pre‑winter, winter, spring, summer).Use equipment for snow removal and road leveling.Ensure proper drainage.Guest Service Duties

Minimum 1 year experience with front end loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment.Willingness to obtain Class B CDL License.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Valid U.S. driver’s license.Compliance with Copper Mountain Driver’s Standards.High school diploma or equivalent.Physical ability to operate under extreme cold.Minimum age 18.Use of mountain radio / walkie‑talkies for communication.Preferred Experience and Special Skills
Safe operation of single‑axle trucks, snow blowers, and related equipment.Client service and public interaction skills.Team building, analytical and problem‑solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication in English.Stress and time management skills.Date posted : This position will be posted and accepting applications until Wednesday, January 7th.
