What You Will Do
Identify and monitor the company culture to ensure it aligns with company goals and promotes positive employee experience.
Partner with managers and employees to resolve complex employee relation issues, including conducting workplace investigations, conflict resolution and addressing escalated concerns.
Collaborate with the Employee Experience and broader HR team to facilitate and support the execution of Talent Management initiatives for assigned facility fostering a culture of coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Partner with facility leadership and recommend policy/practice improvements.
Facilitate the Talent Review Process for the facility and other assigned business groups.
Coach leaders on the appropriate actions required to respond to employee performance concerns. Coach leaders on performance management, employee engagement, leading change, and appropriate actions to address performance or behavior concerns.
Lead the internal talent mobility process to align the workforce to strategic business needs.
Support facility leadership in the execution of the listening strategies, including engagement survey, skip level meetings, exit interviews, stay interviews, action planning, and leader accountability.
Serve as the primary HR support for the staff at the repair service facility (The Hub), while supporting other remote teams.
Collaborate with the broader HR team to facilitate job evaluations, career paths and employee changes.
Collaborate with the U.S. Milwaukee HR team to share best practices and align on approaches where appropriate.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to identify staffing needs within and support workforce planning.
Partner with leadership to develop and implement employee retention strategies.
Travel to the U.S. when required to partner with the larger Hub network leadership and support teams.
What You Will Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field
5+ years previous experience in HR; with experience in operations / manufacturing facility preferred.
Strong experience and expertise with employee relations, including conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with employment-related legislation
Ability to coach managers on performance issues, attendance, progressive discipline, and corrective actions
Outcomes focused and consistently deliver high quality results
Comfort with analyzing data and using data to tell a story
Strong people acumen and emotional intelligence
Proven organizational and project management skills
Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships and interact with a diverse group of people
Comfort with an ever-changing work environment, with the ability to pivot as required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong experience and expertise with employee relations, including conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with employment-related legislation
Self-motivated, self-directed, and organized
Excellent time management and follow-up skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgement, and diplomacy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including strength in PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with Workday is preferred
Ability to travel to the United States and other Canadian locations, including the Toronto Canadian HQ when required.
Flexibility with your hours to work during operation hours, which will begin at 7AM
