Job description

Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Hybrid – Montreal, QC ( days/week onsite; Tuesday and Wednesday mandatory)
Contract Duration: -Year Contract (with potential for renewal)
Language Requirement: Bilingual (English/French)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the Procure-to-Pay (PP) cycle. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to create, update, and maintain purchase orders. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong analytical skills and a customer service mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic, multi-system environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full Procure-to-Pay lifecycle, including purchase order creation and maintenance. Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors in both English and French. Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in procurement documentation. Utilize ERP systems to manage procurement processes efficiently. Work across multiple software platforms throughout the day. Provide operational support to various departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Language: Fluent in English and French (spoken and written). Experience: –+ years in finance, procurement, or accounts payable. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP). Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar). Comfortable exporting and analyzing data. Attributes: Detail-oriented and process-driven. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Customer service-focused with excellent interpersonal communication. Self-starter with the ability to think logically and adapt quickly.

Additional Information

  • Flexibility is required during the training period. Candidates with banking agent experience may not be well suited for this role. Interview process includes – rounds via Microsoft Teams.
