They are seeking a Director based in their Richmond office to drive the growth of their video and electronic security business. In this role, you'll expand National Accounts, explore new markets, and introduce innovative security solutions. Key responsibilities include increasing sales, optimizing profitability, managing staffing, and building infrastructure for future growth. Reporting to the President and as a member of the Executive Team, you will shape strategic direction while leading a high-performing team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to define and execute strategic goals that drive efficiency and employee engagement.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and scalability, streamlining processes to boost productivity.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring effective adoption and communication of new initiatives.
- Align with the company's values and contribute to the Executive Team's strategic direction.
Team Leadership & Development
Set KPIs and track team performance to ensure clear goals and accountability.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for direct reports.Hire top talent, ensure successful onboarding, and enhance training programs for continuous growthFinancial Oversight
Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and drive profitability.Identify and implement cost-saving measures in collaboration with the team.Sales Leadership
Lead the sales team to achieve annual targets, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.Align sales and operations teams to optimize strategies.Support the launch of new products and services to drive growth.Customer Experience Excellence
Continuously adapt 'The Radius Way' to enhance the customer experience.Attend industry events to gather customer insights and share feedback for improvements.Safety Leadership
Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Collaborate with the Health & Safety Committee to prioritize safety training and improvements.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE :
8+ years in senior leadership in operations management (security / technology industry a plus)Extensive knowledge of various operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production and employee managementBachelors degree in business, operations management, or related fieldStrong emotional intelligence, excellent communication and the ability to build cross functional relationshipsProven project management skills, with a background in lean methodology or formal training,Proficient in data analysis, ERP, and CRM systemsWHAT WE OFFER :
