The Opportunity :
The Instructional Designer will shape innovative, learner-centered experiences that are engaging, measurable, and accessible—fueling a culture of high performance across Maple Leaf Foods. This role will lead the design of strategic curricula and blended learning solutions (eLearning, facilitator-led, video, microlearning), leveraging insights and collaboration with subject matter experts to deliver content that inspires growth and drives measurable results.

Key Accountabilities :
- Conduct needs analyses and define clear, measurable learning objectives and success criteria.
- Design curricula and learning paths using adult learning principles and models (ADDIE / SAM); storyboard, script, and prototype.
- Develop digital learning using Articulate Storyline and Rise ; create visuals, interactions, assessments, and job aids.
- Integrate learning technologies (LMS / LRS) and data (xAPI) to track engagement and outcomes; iterate based on insights.
- Ensure accessibility standards across all assets; test with assistive technologies.
- Lead projects end-to-end with rigor—defining scope, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and ensuring quality standards across deliverables.
What You’ll Bring :
Portfolio demonstrating modern instructional design and digital development across modalities.Proficiency with Articulate (Storyline, Rise), multimedia tools (Camtasia / Adobe), and LMS administration; familiarity with xAPI.Strong writing, visual communication, and UX; ability to simplify complex topics and design for diverse audiences.Commitment to accessibility, inclusive design, and continuous improvement, while embedding DEI principles into all learning solutions to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.Collaboration and consulting skills; effectively engage SMEs and stakeholders; manage multiple projects with rigorHow You’ll Measure Success
