Key Responsibilities
Reporting to a Senior Manager within the Internal Strategy & Consulting function, you will :
- Partner with senior leaders to identify, scope, and deliver high-impact strategy and performance improvement initiatives across operations and corporate functions
- Lead structured problem-solving and analytical workstreams to diagnose complex business issues and develop pragmatic, data-driven recommendations
- Translate analysis into clear, compelling insights that inform executive decision-making
- Take end-to-end ownership of defined workstreams, including work planning, milestone management, and final deliverables
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units and geographies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal consulting tools, methodologies, and ways of working
- Coach and support junior team members as appropriate, depending on experience level
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
4–7+ years of experience in management consulting or an internal strategy / transformation role within a large, complex organisationStrong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with experience working on ambiguous, unstructured challengesProven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready communicationsExperience working with senior stakeholders and influencing across functionsA track record of delivering practical, implementable recommendationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related disciplineExposure to asset-intensive industries (e.g., mining, energy, infrastructure, industrials) is advantageous but not requiredA strong commitment to safety, integrity, and collaborationWhat’s on Offer
