A great opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Payroll Project Specialist to join a leading global merchant with a strong heritage in Australian commodities. The organisation combines a modern local workplace with diverse operations and partnerships spanning numerous countries.
The Role
This technical role is not for the faint-hearted. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position will be fully responsible for the testing and implementation of a new payroll system for the organisation and their entities. You will also be required to assist with end to end fortnightly payroll processing plus other payroll and financial reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Play a key role in testing and rolling out the new Humanforce payroll systemExecute payroll testing, parallel runs, data checks, and issue resolution to ensure payroll accuracy and complianceSupport the migration and integration of payroll data from Preceda and ADP into HumanforcePartner closely with payroll, HR, finance, and stakeholders to identify risks and drive a smooth system transitionCapture outcomes, document processes, and support a clean handover post-implementationSupport with end-to-end payroll management across ADP, Preceda, and Humanforce, ensuring compliance with awards and legislation for contractors and permanent employeesCoordinate super, payroll tax, EOFY reporting, salary packaging and FBTWhat are we looking for?
Proven experience in a Senior Payroll position for a fast paced and complex organisationStrong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including award interpretation and legislative compliance for both contractors and permanent employeesDemonstrated experience in payroll system implementation activities and projectsSolid understanding of payroll-related compliance requirements, including superannuation, payroll tax, EOFY processes, salary packaging, and FBTExcellent stakeholder management skills with a strong attention to detailPlease apply now.
