Our client, a highly respected manufacturer within the building materials industry, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage client relationships, drive sales, and develop the market across their Edmonton-based territory. Based within the Greater Edmonton area, this role covers accounts reaching south to Red Deer and north to Grand Prairie. It’s a well-developed region with a strong dealer base and immense, untapped potential.
This is a dynamic sales role focused on strengthening dealer partnerships, securing new business, and successfully bringing exciting new products and collections to market. With design-forward styles, a strong mid-market position, and a reputation for reliable supply and delivery, our client provides everything you need to succeed.
The Role
- Strengthen relationships with existing dealer partners, reinforcing loyalty, presence, and service across the territory.
- Drive sales growth by developing new accounts and actively building a strong sales pipeline.
- Champion new product launches through effective dealer training, education, and sales support.
- Act as a responsive, trusted sales representative for all dealer needs in the region.
- Deliver significant results in a territory that is performing but ready for exponential growth.
The Candidate
Previous outside sales experience in interior finishing building materials is requested.Knowledge of dealer channels serving residential and light commercial markets.Ability to build lasting relationships and grow territory sales.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a self-starter and results-driven mindset.Comfortable traveling throughout the territory as required for appropriate coverage and face time with customers.The Opportunity
