Description

Clean Harbors in Windsor ON is looking for PART TIME water blasters / Automotive industrial booth cleaners to work at our Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant and to join our safety conscious team!

This position is responsible for the successful execution of daily cleaning operations within the manufacturing facility and various other responsibilities. The candidate will be required to work various shifts days afternoons weekends and nightshifts.

Part Time rate of $23.28 / hour.

Responsibilities

Perform routine daily route sheet assignments performing cleaning tasks throughout the facility (janitorial included) restrooms break rooms offices conveyors skids exhaust fans paint booths automated equipment ovens pits and trash; Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment;Pressures ranging from 5k-36k

Operation of special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.

May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;

Must be able to stand on your feet entire shift bend stoop climb ladders / stairs and not be afraid of heights plusbe able to work in confined spaces;

Additional duties as assigned;

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in cold and hot environments.

Qualifications

Must be able to work weekends and Midnights shifts during the weekdays for call in absentee coverage

Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

OSHA certification may be required for this job;

Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers;

Experience in industrial cleaning or similar would be an asset

Forklifts / Scrubbers / Mobile Equipment Experience a PLUS.

Knowledge of High-Pressure pump

Language proficiency : understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
