Sr. Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting a broad range of financial reporting and analysis activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate day-to-day recording of accounting transactions
• Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations, reporting, variance analysis, and preparation of financial statements (P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting matters and ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and distribute detailed daily and monthly financial reports
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members, as appropriate
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Support inventory counts and prepare related reports
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to provide value-added insights to operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to streamlining existing workflows
• Assist with the automation and enhancement of financial processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Actively pursuing a CPA designation and registered in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP)
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with financial or ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
